Highlights

New! Improves File Explorer. Similar to Microsoft Edge, it now includes tabs, allowing you to organize your File Explorer sessions more efficiently. The new File Explorer home page lets you bookmark important files for easy access. You can also track your coworkers’ activities on shared files using Microsoft OneDrive features. Additionally, personalized recommendations are provided based on your Microsoft 365 account.

New! Adds feature called Suggested Actions for copied items. Available in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, this feature offers suggestions like “create a call with Teams or Skype” or “add an event to the Calendar app” when you copy phone numbers or future dates.

New! A taskbar overflow menu is now available. This menu displays all your overflowed apps in one place directly from the taskbar.

This non-security update includes quality improvements. After installing this KB:

Removing the LCU
If you need to uninstall the LCU after installing the combined SSU and LCU package:

1. Use the DISM/Uninstall-Package command-line option.
2. Specify the LCU package name as the argument.
3. To find the package name, run the command: DISM/online /get-packages

The combined package includes the SSU, so the Windows Update Standalone Installer (wusa.exe) with the /uninstall switch cannot be used to remove it. Once installed, the SSU cannot be removed from the system.
